Accessibility statement.
Last updated: July 6, 2026
We build for the broadest possible audience, and we want to hear from you if any part of this site gets in your way.
Our commitment
We firmly believe the internet should be available and accessible to anyone. Get X Media is committed to providing a website that is usable by the broadest possible audience, regardless of ability. We aim to conform to the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1) at the AA level.
How we build for accessibility
Rather than relying on an add-on overlay, accessibility is built into how this site is made:
- Semantic HTML. Pages use proper headings, landmarks, lists, and labelled form fields so assistive technology can understand the structure.
- Keyboard operability. Menus, dropdowns, the mobile navigation drawer, and links can be reached and operated with the keyboard. Menus close with Esc, and interactive elements show a visible focus state.
- Screen-reader support. Images carry descriptive alternative text, icons that convey meaning have accessible labels, and ARIA attributes are used where native HTML is not enough.
- Reduced motion. Our subtle animations respect the operating-system "reduce motion" preference — when it's on, movement is minimized or removed.
- Readable contrast and text. Colours are chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast, and text reflows and remains legible when zoomed or viewed on small screens.
- No surprises. No auto-playing audio, and no content that flashes in a way known to trigger seizures.
Assistive technology and browser compatibility
We aim to support the major browsers and assistive technologies that make up the large majority of use today, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Microsoft Edge, together with screen readers such as VoiceOver, JAWS, and NVDA, on both Windows and Mac.
Ongoing effort and known limitations
Accessibility is never finished. Despite our best efforts, there may still be pages or sections that are not fully accessible or are in the process of being improved. We are continually testing, fixing, and improving, and we treat accessibility issues as bugs to be resolved.
