Terms of service.

1. Services

Get X Media provides digital marketing services including advertising campaign management, SEO, social media management, website development, and AI-powered automation. The Cortex platform integrates with third-party services including Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google on behalf of clients.

2. Client data and advertising

When managing advertising campaigns, Get X Media accesses advertising accounts and data solely to provide the contracted services. We comply with all applicable platform policies, including the Meta Advertising Policies and the Google Advertising Policies.

3. Lead generation data

Consumer data collected through lead-generation campaigns belongs to our client. Get X Media acts as a data processor and does not sell, share, or use consumer lead data for any purpose beyond campaign fulfillment. All lead-data handling complies with PIPEDA, GDPR (where applicable), and the Meta Lead Ads Terms of Service.

4. The Cortex mobile app

The Cortex app is our private client portal, provided to Get X Media clients and the people they authorize. Accounts are created by invitation only; there is no public sign-up, and you must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act for the business whose account you access. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials and device secure.

You keep ownership of the content you upload through the app (such as photos, documents, and business information) and grant Get X Media a licence to store, process, and use that content to deliver your marketing services: for example, using uploaded job photos in your social posts, ads, or website. Payments made through the app are processed by Stripe and governed by your service agreement. You may delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete Account); deletion requests are actioned within 7 days.

5. Intellectual property

All creative assets and deliverables produced by Get X Media remain our intellectual property until full payment is received, at which point ownership transfers to the client per the service agreement.

6. Limitation of liability

Get X Media is not liable for advertising-platform policy changes, account suspensions by third-party platforms, or campaign-performance outcomes beyond our control. Our maximum liability is limited to the fees paid in the preceding 30 days.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Disputes shall be resolved in Alberta courts.
